Content descriptions

Summary, etc.:
In the late winter, two beavers search for a home. They find a small stream surrounded by trees. Then they begin to build. Soon they have a small dam that stretches across the stream and holds the water back. in the new pond, they build a lodge. There, the mother beaver has her babies. The lodge keeps the beaver family safe. The pond created by the dam creates a unique ecosystem for ducks and blackbirds, dragonflies and turtles. When the dam is threatened by storms, the beavers work hard to rebuild it. Building is what beavers do best.
